TESTIMONIALS
Betsy Kohler, Executive Director North American Association of Central Cancer Registries
NAACCR has benefited from Lois's skills and expertise on many occasions. I have always found Lois a pleasure to work with. She puts an enormous effort into planning any event and this time is extremely well spent. She will make sure she understands what you want to accomplish during the course of the meeting (and will help you define it for yourself if it is unclear.) Then she will work with you to establish an agenda that is designed specifically to achieve your goals. Lois uses many methods to encourage attendees to participate, accounting for different learning styles and comfort levels of participating in groups. Lois is always able to keep discussions on target and minimize non-constructive conversations. Lois's attention to detail in the planning phase ensures a meeting that runs smoothly, and accomplishes your mission.
Anne Schneider, Executive Director Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance
Lois has all the characteristics of an exceptional employee: dedication to her work, communication skills that put everyone at ease, attention to detail, follow up and timely completion of projects. When these qualities are combined with her personal attributes as a warm, caring individual who takes pride in her work with a delightful sense of humor, you will find that Lois is the right fit for your organization and has the flexibility to work in a variety of roles.
Robyn McCoy, Director Workforce Investment Solutions
When we were looking for a coordinator for the Central Region Critical Skills Shortage Initiative, Lois really was the right person for the job. For three years she coordinated the project-from December 2005 through December 2008. Half of that time she was living in Illinois, and when she moved to Colorado, she continued to coordinate the project, returning to Illinois every few weeks to do in-person meetings. It worked out well for everyone.
She stepped up, took the initiative and kept the three directors on track. We were all so busy, it was great to have the confidence that she would get the work done. Whether meeting one-on-one with a hospital administrator or pulling a group of nurse educators together to consider standardizing a contract, Lois is a great meeting planner and facilitator. She is competent, well-organized and has the ability to engage a diverse group of people. She is energetic and enthusiastic and carries out her responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism.
Connie Bura, Director of Cancer Programs for the American College of Surgeons
The American Joint Committee on Cancer hired Lois Britton to facilitate a process review session for a complicated project that had just concluded. The development and implementation of the project was a joint effort among many organizations. Although there were successes there were areas for improvement around coordination, timelines, quality of work, etc. It was a very complicated project that involved many different personalities. Lois was instrumental in developing the interview questions and process for seeking input and perspectives from all of the participants on the project, and in using those data to develop the meeting agenda. Lois summarized all of the data collected and prepared a series of slide presentations for use at the meeting. She was a focused facilitator during the discussion session portions of the meeting and fostered an open, non-confrontational, comfortable, and relaxed environment in which all of the participants could voice their concerns and share their opinions. Lois is a dynamic individual who can relate to and engage participants and serve as a neutral party. This was the second time I had worked with Lois and specifically sought out her facilitation services because she is so skilled at working with very diverse groups on difficult topics. I remain very impressed with her skills and abilities and look forward to working with her again sometime in the future.

I've attended Lois Britton's workshops and can say in full confidence she's an outstanding group leader and presenter. I laughed, smiled, and ended the day with new knowledge. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
